Overwhelmed by a flood at work? Fix it in 2 steps!


This is what to do. If you are coming out of a crazy period at work, you’ve got to catch up.
You have so much going on. You’re just freaking overwhelmed. Let’s go! Number one, set a recalibration phase. You need some time to actually catch up before you accept any new projects, tasks, anything, whether it’s from your team or from your clients.
Step one, recalibrate. Step two, during the recalibration phase, make sure you set aside some time for self-care. Usually these sprints and overwhelmed periods are followed by exhaustion.
