What is your Procrastination Risk Level for a given goal?
Here’s how to determine it and mitigate it! 💪
So in this video, I want to talk to you about procrastination risk. So if you’re somebody that ever struggles with procrastination, or you’re just not really getting done what you want, there are a few ways that you can actually figure out if something has a high procrastination risk and how to deal with it.
So the first thing you want to ask yourself is how long has this been on your list? If you’re being honest, is this something that’s been on your list for weeks, months, years, even? That’s an indication that it has a high procrastination risk.
Is there any specific stress or anxiety associated with or overwhelmed? Like, do you start to work on it and you’re like, oh my God, I can’t deal with this.
And then, is there any specific roadblock that’s really keeping you from doing it? For example, I want to create a website, but I have no idea how to create a website.
Right? Then step one would be figuring that out. So in order to figure out how to circumvent the procrastination risk, the next step is to use time breakdowns.
In other words, just spend five minutes. Just start. At one point, I actually opened up a word file, saved it with a title, and then I checked off.
Just start. You would be surprised how effective this trick is. I hope it helps you.
